About Rig Veda Samhita, First Ashtaka
Dr. R. L. Kashyap has interpreted this Samhita part of the Vedas
from a spiritual standpoint… He declares that the outer yajna in
the karma kanda is closely connected with inner yajna which is the
final import. The performance of the inner yajna leads to full and
perfect health and this view is supported by brahmana and
Upanishad texts.
-Pujya Sri Sri Rangapriya Swamiji
Dr. Kashya, who has valiantly attempted to restore the mystic
significance of Taittiriya Samhita by this pioneering endeavour,
is to be congratulated and his efforts are to be commended.
-Prof. S. K. Ramachandra Rao
We are grateful to Kashyap for revealing that roughly one-third of
the Krishna Yajur Veda Samhita is composed of mantras from the Rig
Veda… Professor Kashyap, with a fresh and straight-forward
translation, opens us to the hidden significance of this ancient
collection. His clear mind and scholastic skills are a national
treasure.
