Translation |
May the Devas bless us
from where Vishnu strode forth through
the seven regions of the earth. |
(16) |
Through this Vishnu strode; thrice he
placed his foot, and the whole world
lay in the dust of his feet. |
(17) |
Three steps he made, Vishnu the Guardian
undeceivable; from there
upholding the eternal Laws. |
(18) |
Look at Vishnu's works through which
his holy ways he, the close Friend
of Indra, allows to be seen. |
(19) |
And that supreme place of Vishnu
the noble view for evermore,
like an eye laid in heaven. |
(20) |
The sages, praising with their song,
ever vigilant, brighten up
that supreme place which is Vishnu's. |
