Let us bring our minds to rest in the glory of the Divine Truth
May the Supreme Truth inspire all of us to reflect on it.

O Indra and Varuņa, may these persons who are relying upon you and wandering about (in alarm) sustain no harm from the youthful (psychological) hostiles. Wherever you are (kva), well known is your glory to bestow felicities on your friends. (1)
O Indra and Varuņa, your most diligent worshipper incessantly invokes you for increase (avase) and felicities (rayi). Along with the Maruts, Heaven and Earth, hear my invocation. (2)
O Indra and Varuņa, may there be opulence (vasu) in me. O Maruts, may we have the felicities along with all-sided heroes. May Goddess Varutri give us a wide-dwelling; May Goddesses Hotra and Bharati endow us with discernment (dakshiņa). (3)
O Brhaspati, dear to all the Gods, accept our offerings (havya); grant the ecstasy (ratna) to the giver. (4)
Adore with hymns the pure (shukra) Bŗhaspati in the pilgrim-journey (adhvara); I pray for unsurpassable strength (Ojas) form him. (5)
(Adore) the excellent Bŗhaspati, the shower of benefits on the strivers, one having all-form, the irreproachable. (6)
O Pūshan, this newest hymn of ours is chanted by us to thee, the resplendent one. (7)
Accept with love this my song; be gracious to my thoughts of plenitude as a bridegroom to his bride. (8)
He who sees all as separate and sees the worlds as united, may he, Pūshan, be our protector. (9)
The adorable glory of Savitri Devā, we contemplate; may he arouse our intellect. (10)
To Savitri, Devā, with our intellect, desiring power, we pray for the gift to grace. (11)
Savitri, Devā, wise men adore with rituals and noble hymns, inspired by their intellect. (12)
Soma, knowing the perfect path, goes to the Gods and takes his seat in the source of the Truth-in-movement (rta). (13)
May Soma grant us the Vision to behold the person with two states (of consciousness, dvipadi) and four states (of consciousness, Chatushpadi); may he impel us along blissful (anamīva) paths. (14)
May Soma take his seat in the world of his session (sadhastha), prolong our lives and overcome our (psychological) foes. (15)
O Indra and Varuņa, pour your knowledge endowed with protection (gavyūti) and (mental) clarity (ghŗta). O Strong of will, make the worlds (rajamsi) full of honey (madhu). (16)
O you who are praised by many, you increase (in us) by surrender (nama); you reign (rajatha) by your great discernment (daksha) and might (draghişhtha) associated with pure workings (vrata). (17)
Glorified by Jamadagni, may you be seated in the source of Truth. O Increasers of Truth (ŗtavŗdha), guard the delight (Soma). (18)
